How account and identity verification works

There are two kinds of verification on Shoot: verifying your social accounts, and verifying your identity for payouts.

Social account verification

You verify each social account — usually by placing a bio code on your profile that Shoot reads back, or by connecting the account. This lets brands trust that submitted posts and view counts are really yours. You verify an account before you can submit clips on that platform.

Identity verification (for payouts)

Before your first withdrawal, Shoot runs a government-ID check with liveness and face match (provided by Didit). Creator payouts are only available to people aged 18 or over, confirmed by the date of birth on your ID.

You'll also need a country on file and email-code verification on each withdrawal; crypto withdrawals add a sanctions/wallet attestation.
