Can I submit the same video to two campaigns?
One post, one submission. When you submit a video, that video is claimed platform-wide — not just for the campaign you submitted it to.
Why it works this way
Brands pay for views on a clip made for their campaign. If one post could earn on several campaigns at once, each brand would be paying in full for the same views — so the video is locked to the first campaign it's submitted to.
The messages you might see
- "You've already submitted this video to this campaign."
- You're re-submitting a post that's already in this campaign. Check your submissions — it's already there.
- "You've already submitted this video to another campaign."
- That post is claimed by one of your other campaigns. Post a new video for this one.
- "This video has already been submitted to Shoot by another account."
- Another account claimed this post first. If that's unexpected — for example someone submitted a link to your video — contact support.
Deleting a submission frees the video
If you delete your own submission, the claim on that video is released and it can be submitted again.
What to do instead
Make a fresh post for each campaign. That's not just a rule to work around — a clip cut for one brief rarely fits another well, and campaigns judge submissions against their own guidelines. Reposting the same edit across campaigns tends to get rejected on fit even where it isn't blocked outright.
Posting the identical video twice on your own account to submit it to two campaigns isn't a way around this either — platforms suppress duplicate uploads, so the second post usually gets very little distribution.
Frequently asked
Can I post the same clip on TikTok and Instagram and submit both?+
Yes, where the campaign allows both platforms — those are two separate posts with separate view counts, so each is submitted separately and earns on its own views. What you can't do is submit one post to two campaigns.
I deleted my submission — can I submit that video again?+
Yes. Deleting your own submission releases the claim on that video, so it can be submitted again afterwards.
Someone else submitted my video. What do I do?+
Contact support with the link. Video claims are tied to the account that submitted first, and support can look into a claim that shouldn't be there.

Post your clip on one of the campaign's allowed platforms, then paste the post link inside the campaign's submission window. Shoot warns you if the link doesn't match an allowed platform.
Why was my clip rejected?
Brands review each submission and can approve, reject, or ask for a resubmission. A rejection should come with a clear reason — usually the clip didn't follow the campaign's content rules or platform requirements.
